Summary: NOT worth the price!!! 2008-01-03
Comment: I bought this monitor about a year ago and just recently I went to turn on the computer and the screen went black for no reason. I am not able to get any picture back. I thought it was my CPU at first but then realized it was the monitor. This is the first time a monitor lasted less than a year. I had my previous monitor for almost 8 years! I will not buy another View Sonic or recommend one, especially after reading a previous review where the person had two go at the same time.

Summary: Still Happy a Year & 1/2 Later... 2007-12-18
Comment: Great picture clarity, simple to set up. Colors and text are sharp and bright using the auto setup setting. I've had absolutely no problems with it since I got it and I use it every day. The front/back tilt adjustment lets you set it to just the right angle for you. And what can I say, but the monitor just looks cool in black with the offsetting silver control buttons and tilt hinge. I highly recommend it.

Comment: Thx to Amazon once again offeribg the best products & ultra fast shipping.
I play Battlefield 2 , Call OF Duty 2 . Quake 4 ,Doom3 and a bunch more. I'm very happy with this monitor. Playes everything I can through at it & no goasting at all. I would recommend this monitor anyone who is looking for a Flatscreen LCD. Best Bang for the Buck.

Summary: Short Lifespan 2006-12-01
Comment: I purchased 2 Viewsonic LCD monitors and both lasted about a year and a half before the left side of the screens went dark. No diagnostic queries or interaction could bring them back to normal. I contacted customer support and was told that Viewsonic would do nothing. Maybe it was stupid of me not to get a warranty beyond the first year, but I assumed that a good product, with good parts, from a company with a desire to satisfy its customers with a QA/QC program that would ensure good products being produced, would last longer that a year and a half. With 2 LCD moniotrs having the same problem and lasting about the same length of time, this strongly indicates to me a non-coincidental problem within Viewsonic. I will not buy anything from Viewsonic again. I will spend a little money, if I have to, to buy a reliable product from a reliable company.
