The monitor looks great and performs beautifully. The installation was a breeze, and everything I needed was there. It's obvious that they put a great deal of emphasis on quality as evidenced by the degree of care put into the packaging of the components and the clarity of the instruction manual (.pdf format).

The only drawback is that the speakers are on the weak side. While they are convenient - being installed in the montior - you will be disappointed if you intend to use them for music or multi-media. You may want to consider the VA702B instead and use good external speakers if sound quality is important to you.

This is an awesome monitor. It matched my iBook's screen perfectly in terms of color. It is also seriously bright. I mean, you can light up a small room. The only downside that I can find on this LCD is it doesn't have different presets, for night use, day use, gaming, etc, which some LCDs do. Also the OSD menu is a little hard to navigate.

Speakers are not very good at all, but at this price, it doesn't matter. If you want good speakers, you're going to buy speakers, not a LCD & Speaker combo unit. It's common sense.

Overall, this is a 4 Star display, only because of the cons above. Highly recommended, especially if you care about color and if you own an Apple display and want to add this to it in screen spanning.

I recently purchased this monitor, not from Amazon, but from another retailer (it was only a few dollars cheaper than Amazon's great price). Contrary to one of the reviews, it does come with a DVI adapter (and VGA). The monitor is very clear, looks sharp, and is a great deal. The speakers leave a lot to be desired, but with a total power of 2 watts, what do you expect? It's still a nice added feature. This monitor is so good, I'm definitely buying another one!
