Comment: Yeah. I'm pretty happy with this monitor. Had to buy another cable to go along with it, but works great. Good color with very minimal calibration.

Summary: Great monitor 2010-02-17
Comment: Replaced my 8 yr. old 17" with built in Polk Audio speakers. I am running this new monitor on an 8 yr old HP running WinXP. As far as the monitor goes.......WOW .....bright, no bad pixels, HUGE improvement over the old one. Just had to change the resolution in the PC. Very easy to do. Now the bad. Speakers suck. I knew that before buying, but they REALLY suck. Like listening to sound underwater. Could be my old sound card but my old built in speakers sounded great. Also two days after I put in my order the price dropped $20. Amazon doesn't have a 30 day price guarantee like some other outlets, so I'm out that twenty. Free shipping was fast, as usual. The blue "on" light isn't too bad, but I can see how it might bother some folks. Cut a small piece of electric tape over it. Over all happy, but know that the speakers are early 60's portable radio quality.....barely.

Comment: Great monitor at a great low price. I ordered 3 of these to run in an ATI Eyefinity setup for flight simulators. Amazon delivered all 3 in less than a week during the recent record setting snowfall here in DC. I tested them all right away. The monitors are bright, clear and flawless. You can certainly buy better monitors but you'll pay much more for them. I've used ViewSonic displays for years and have had great luck with them. These are a great way to get your multi-monitor setup at a bargain price. I can't wait to finish my build and see them in action!!

Comment: I bought this monitor to watch movies on. Movies look real good on it, but mostly only widescreen ones.

Comment: The scene is very large but the font size is too large even when place on the smallest font size. It hard on the eyes.
