Comment: I was very happy with the features when I bought this. I wasn't expecting the sound to go bad within months. I wasn't expecting to have the same problem after I shipped it to Samsung for repairs. When it did exhibit the same problem again, I asked Samsung to provide a different unit. Their reply: I would have to have the same problem three times before they would do anything other than "fix" it again and return it to me. So, I shipped it to them again. I pulled it out of the box and set it up only to find that the problem with the sound was even worse than it was when I had sent it to them!

Samsung's response this time was to offer to send me a refurbished unit. Given that this means I will be receiving a unit that their repair team refurbished I have absolutely no confidence that I will have a unit that works. I will simply be waiting to see what issues the refurbished unit demonstrates.

I would not advise buying Samsung's products. It doesn't help to have a warranty if they are not able to back it up. I thought the three year warranty was going to ensure that I had a working unit. Each time I send it to them I have weeks without any unit. Samsung's only accommodation is to say they're sorry for the trouble. Really? I have seen no evidence that they care to have their customers purchase Samsung products in the future.

Comment: No dead pixels, arrived fast in perfect shape. It is a sleek, good looking unit (but it does show the dust). A bonus is our Samsung TV remote and monitor remote are interchangeable for basic functions. Some reviews didn't like the reflective frame, I waited to see if my husband would even notice...he didn't, and I have no problem with it at all. Ditto for the on/off button, not a big enough issue to fret about, and I actually like the way it works...sort of futuristic. It was hooked up in less than 20 minutes, and it fits well on our small computer desk next to our printer. We hooked up external speakers so I can't comment on speaker quality. An impressive upgrade for a petite price...nice!

Comment: I have bought two of these tvs now and have been very pleased with them. If you read the reviews they pretty much nail this tv. I have these in the kids rooms and they are excellent for the watching dvds and playing Playstation 3. The picture is very sharp on the Playstation 3. Their friends come over and comment on how much better the picture looks on this tv compared to theirs. The only downfall I have found is the speakers are a little weak but for a small room they are more than adequate.

Comment: and it's 1080 for that price. Yes the sound is a bit tinny, but it's for our work out area and you don't listen to it much, anyway. I love it, great picture!

Comment: Awesome product. Description is weird because this is actually a TV plus monitor and not only monitor. Does what it says, 2 HDMI, 1 TV in, multiple component ports. Remote works fine. Picture is nice and crisp. Amazing quality. A must buy!
