This review is from: Samsung B1940R 19-Inch 1280 x 1024 5ms 16.7M High Performance LCD Monitor (Electronics) This is an excellent monitor. I was looking for a monitor with the following attributes: 19 inch, non-widescreen, DVI input, 1280*1024 resolution, tilt AND height adjustable. I have generally been using the Dell Ultrasharp monitors (e.g., 1907FP, 1908FP), and had ordered another one as a second home monitor, but canceled the Dell order because the shipment kept getting delayed for 3 weeks. Well, I am glad I got this Samsung monitor instead. It is the best monitor of this type I have owned. It is incredibly bright, and very much noticeably brighter than my other Dell 1907FP and 1908FP monitors I use at work and at home. Also, the sharpness of the image is just as good as these other business-oriented monitors. This monitor allows the user to adjust hight and position. This is the 3rd one I've purchased for separate installations. Best for the price. Amazon had the best price. 0 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Samsung B1940R 19-Inch 1280 x 1024 5ms 16.7M High Performance LCD Monitor (Electronics) Very bright, good contrast, no dead pixels, and highly adjustable. A good quality monitor, but:
o Limited vertical viewing angle. No problem if you're looking directly at it, but stand up and you may not be able to read text. o No USB ports (not a big deal for me). o Like every other gadget made today, this one has a neon blue power LED. Not too distracting when the display is turned on, but it blinks when the PC goes to sleep and the screen goes dark. Why do I need another blinking neon blue LED to tell me that my PC has gone to sleep? |
