This review is from: NEW COMPAQ PRESARIO C300 C500 C700 15.4inch WGXA LCD SCREEN (Electronics) It was so easy to repair. If you have average skills, You can do it. I was ready to junk the laptop but decided "why not". I looked at several places and went with Amazon because I feel much more secure. The LCD came by UPS in less than a week and I had the laptop running within an hour. (I did take it apart before ordering as recomended in several web sites, that only took about 30 minutes). Best Buy (where I bought it)and Stapels told me it was not worth it, $500-$600 repair. I think they wanted me to buy a new one. I did it for a little over $100. |
