Few photographers or videographers have physical darkrooms these days. Instead, their darkroom exists largely in their computer. This virtual darkroom has two points of visual access: the display and some output mechanism such as a printer or TV screen. But all of the creative work is done through the display, making it the single most important part of the process. It is much more important that having the fastest CPU. This review is from: NEC MultiSync PA271W-BK-SV 27-Inch LCD Monitor (Personal Computers) I have only used the monitor for a short time, but so far, it works perfectly and looks stunning. I did have some trouble hooking it up to my MacBook Pro (NEC's setup instructions are not particular clear), but after a call to their technical help center, I was referred to the correct adapter and where to order it. The Apple store had sold me an adapter which would not work. |
