This is my first LCD monitor. It is just awesome...no glare, viewable from virtually any angle, bright true colors, just about sets itself up out of the box.
Morrowind looks fantastic with no ghosting at all that I could discern.
The controls are very very hard to see on the black monitor and just about impossible to use, BUT you can download software from NEC online so that all the controls are available from right-clicking on your desktop and going to "properties" for the Windows XP desktop...very easy.
I'm an oldster and was worried about being able to use this monitor at the high resolution, but it just makes the desktop and fonts much easier to see...no problem.
Don't hestitate. Get this monitor. You will love it.
Oh, and not a single bad pixel.

The monitor came before my computer and I couldn't wait to see it in action. When it first came out of the box, I never imagined it was going to be that light. Once it hooked up to my computer (HP Custom Built) it came to life and provided some serious display for my eyes to taste. Impressive, clear, smooth, great color, and it saves so much space... get rid of your old CRT (Cathode Ray Tube -- Old Computer Monitor) and buy this one. It is worth it.

After being pleased with two 15" Samsung LCD monitors, I was ready to upgrade to a bigger LCD monitor. After reading many editorial and user reviews, I decided to give this monitor a try. Let me tell you that I absolutely love it. It's been a terrific upgrade from my previous 15" gems! After using this monitor for nearly a month, here's what I've found.The extra desktop space I achieved from this LCD was terrific when I use it at its native resolution (1280x1024), and the fonts and images were clear, crisp, and full of rich colors. A nice bonus is that the power supply is integrated into the monitor itself - no more power brick! It was also clear that NEC cares for its monitors in terms of packaging.
