This LG model didn't show up in the top search, but I wanted to check it out as it was highly recommended by a family member. In the store, this one beat out all others in terms of the crispness of the display. I came home, set it up, and it worked beautifully except for two things. One, the recommended resolution is 1600x900 but I couldn't find how to change the maximum in Windows 7 (64-bit). Finally figured out that if you right click and go to 'Graphics Options', select 'Output To' then 'Extended Desktop' and 'Monitor + Notebook,' voilà problem solved. This review is from: LG E2050T 20-Inch Slim Widescreen LED Monitor (Glossy Black) (Personal Computers) I am extremely happy with my choice
I do not regret it This little screen is sharp and worth its value By This review is from: LG E2050T 20-Inch Slim Widescreen LED Monitor (Glossy Black) (Personal Computers) I purchased this monitor in October 2010. So far it works good except for the fact that the blue power light quit working around December 2010. Also, the 4 little blue menu lights quit working at the same time. If I press on the plastic at the bottom of the screen the lights come on but go off again as soon as I take my finger away. It must be some kind of short or something.I just wonder what will quit working next. I just may buy another monitor eventualy. Probably a different brand. |
