...this monitor (Flatron E2041) is still working just as well as it was the day I bought it. I picked it up on sale at a Best Buy in NYC for about 100 bucks, thinking I was getting a decent monitor and hoping it would last. It's been awesome! It works great for web browsing, video games and casual video watching. The only spot where this monitor has a little trouble is when watching a movie where it's night time and dark. The colors aren't very distinct and everything winds up being too dark to see, so you miss things that you would probably see otherwise. I don't sit around watching full movies on my computer that often though. That's what my TV is for.

Purchased this monitor a few days ago. Luckily it works fine with the generic Windows 7 PNP driver, because i have been unable to install the LG driver from the CD supplied with the monitor despite repeated attempts. When I select the correct monitor from the list, the installation is aborted. I even tried selecting a different monitor and got the same result. Tried to e-mail LG customer support, but their website will not let me create the required account, keeps rejecting all the values such as e-mail address, name, etc. And the model number is not even listed in the required pulldown menu. Finally, the documentation supplied with the monitor is a joke...essentially stick figure drawings and one-line instructions in eight languages. Don't buy this monitor if you require hand-holding.
