when I bought my new gateway computer tower I need a nice big monitor and I came a cross this monitor. Best monitor I could of buy, crystal clear screen and really wide.

I chose this monitor for 3 reasons: (1) it was highly rated by Consumer Rpts, (2) it has self-contained speakers, and (3) it's bigger than my old one.
Pro: Easy to install, nice resolution, attractive, speakers adequate for this non-gamer/non-musical senior lady.
Con: I knocked off one star for the weird placement of the controls. They are in an obscure location under the bottom front of the unit. Going by the picture, I think there should be some indicator lights across the bottom front but I don't see them. Since there isn't much need for adjustments I let that go as I can find the controls by feeling for them with my fingers.
