I was swaying between a few monitors before I went to circuit city to see it in person. I was sold. the touch buttons on the side are easy to use, and the monitor is beautiful. Soon to get a vid card that has hd, but so far, it is still great, even with vga alone. And you can use it as a monitor for tv with the component and hdmi hookups. My Gateway 19 incher does not do this so why did they change? Screen is bright WHITE and text is easy to read. Odd error when installing the EZTune included software. Still waiting to hear from the Portrait support people. If you want to swivel the screen for portrait mode you will have to buy the special mounting. I bought this to replace a monitor that was at Gateway for repair, the one I received back from Gateway wasn't as good ( no hdmi sound out) as this one, these are some of the best monitors you can buy for the money, Hdmi in, composite in, vga in and dvi in. VERY versatile! I have three and am very pleased with them. |
