This review is from: Dell Latitude D620/D630 Series 14.1inch WXGA Glossy LCD Screen (Electronics) Well as you might expect, Dell does things differently with their LCD panels. I've replaced a fair number of panels and have never run into anything like this one. Rest assured, if you have a Dell Latitude D630 this panel WILL fit your laptop, and you do not have to buy anything extra. I cannot speak to the other Dell models since I have a D630. I thought these were defective at first, because I'd get no video, but after trying multiple cables, I found one that worked. It has more wires than the typical handful of cables coming out of the connector, and into the motherboard. Be ready to buy a replacement cable, if you don't have many to test out...Read more |
