I had been using one of the old 17" bulky CRT monitors for years because I didn't want to splurge on the pricey LCD monitors. However, the prices have been steadily going down and when I found this one, I went ahead and purchased it. I am very glad that I did. It feels like I have twice the space on my desk now and the picture is so much better than the old CRT. It was definitely worth every penny!

Very good price for a nice monitor! Easy to adjust-took a couple of hours to get used to the widescreen, but now I LOVE it!

This is a low priced monitor that works pretty well. You can get new ones on ebay sometimes for less than $100. I use it as a second monitor for my laptop, a role in which it performs pretty well for the price. The only real knock I have on the monitor is that it's not very bright, but this is really only an issue if you use it outdoors. If I have my laptop out on the table on the lanai during the day the display is a bit dim, but still usable. That's my only complaint. However, for the price it's still a good deal.
