Compaq S2022a 20-Inch Diagonal LCD Monitor - Black

I bought the Compac S2022a monitor to enhance the use of an ASUS netbook and found it to satisfy the requirement. Generally, the netbook becomes tiresome to use for long hours otherwise because of the small screen. I'm a consultant love the small size of the netbook when on the road and the new monitor works well when at home office. Ten minutes after loading the driver it was on, in perfect adjustment. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I've found it to be color accurate with good contrast but only fair speakers. It remains a great value, under $140.

One of the nice features is that it automatically shuts off when I either unplug or shut down the netbook. Also, the adjustment buttons are front and center under the screen and simple to manipulate and set.

I think it's optimum for general use as a CRT replacement or to improve the video of an old laptop or netbook.

I bought this monitor to be the second to my 20 inch iMac and it works great. It was easy to install, the colors are vibrant, and it is very responsive. A particularly good buy for the price.

This monitor is a great deal for the price. Nice and bright with no dead pixels. It does everything you expect in a basic 20-inch monitor. The menu system is easy to figure out. Some monitors in this price range don't include a tilt stand but this one does which is very important to achieve optimal viewing angle. There is no hight adjustment but that's not a big deal because you can always buy a stand. I'm not docking it for the bad speakers because who uses built-in monitor speakers anyway? The case design is simple and conservative so it blends in nicely with most other computer equipment. Overall highly recommended.
