It has a DVI port and a VGA port. It also comes with a DVI cable, a VGA cable, and a power cable. No complicated features so it is very easy to set up. The buttons are on the bottom edge of the screen and require a little force to work them. The stand is noticeably flimsy when moving the monitor or pushing the buttons, but supports the monitor just fine. There is very little paper documentation, but since the monitor is truly plug and play, this is not an issue. Due to the very low cost, overall image quality, and features, I would say this is a product of exceptional value. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Acer X233H bd 23-Inch Widescreen LCD Display - Black (Electronics) After significant research into 23" and 24" LCD monitors in the $220 and under category, I was pretty sure I was going to go with a 24" ViewSonic for $199. Then I found a deal on this Acer model a couple of weeks ago for a lot less ($160 after tax and shipping) and got it instead. I was upgrading from my 19" ViewSonic widescreen LCD from 2006 that had served me very well, first at home then in my office for the past year. Since the screen is used for typical office tasks (internet browsing, powerpoint, excel, email, reading PDFs, etc) I was interested in a screen with 1920x1200 resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) in order to get as much space for reading-oriented tasks as I could. Unfortunately there are not many models offering 1920x1200 and those that do are much more expensive (generally $270+ from what I found). So I figured 1920x1080 would be fine given my budget. I also wanted to make sure it had a MATTE screen finish (not the newer glossy "anti-glare" finishes like on macbook...Read more 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Acer X233H bd 23-Inch Widescreen LCD Display - Black (Electronics) This monitor is just what I was looking for. It is nothing super fancy, so if you do lots of gaming and have more advanced video requirements, then this may not be the product for you. On the other hand, I just wanted a nice big screen for doing basic stuff and watching a movie occasionally... and this monitor is perfect for that. The picture quality is great and it is an Energy Star product, so it uses less power than other comparable brands/models. The only bummer is that there is no height adjust mechanism. This is not a problem for me personally (and I knew there was no height adjust when I made the purchase), but I just want to make that clear in case it may be a problem for someone else. All things considered, this is a great monitor, and you really can't beat the price! |
