ACER X223WDbd 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Previously I used two 19" monitors at work, I would have one running my email and intranet and the second was my workspace. It worked well but took up a lot of space on the desk. When I moved positions and went from a large cubicle in the IT department to a smaller one in another building I simply didn't have room for 2 monitors. So I asked if I could get a larger monitor and the business gave me the Acer X223w. I will add I am using this with a Ergotron LX Desk Mount LCD Arm 45-241-026 so that it can hover above the desk and I was able to remove the stand, allowing me to have more desk space under the monitor.

I received this as a birthday gift from my wife, and I'm very happy with what it does. I had never used the DVI input before; I'm so impressed by the clarity of text. My only minor quubbles are with the lack of tilt, and a slight hint of green in the dark backgrounds of movies in default mode (solved by setting colors to "warm") Highly recommended!

I am very happy with my purchase of this monitor. Due to the 1680x1050 maximum resolution and the 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio, it has more screen real estate than a 23" HD widescreen monitor. Very satisfied.
