This Acer Monitor is 18.5 " widescreen and the pictures are very sharp. The item itself is very light and can be handled easily and was definitely affordable. The wide screen allows me to really see the photos I take and then turn into a work of art on an eggshell, be it an ostrich, emu or rhea.

For $100 its a pretty darn good monitor. I have only had it for a few days but so far no real issues. You can sometimes notice small quality imperfections when reading small print.
Overall nice monitor.

I just replaced a fried, big old-fashioned CRT monitor with this ACER monitor.
Although it came with a CD-ROM for installation, I just plugged it in and turned it on. Didn't need to insert the CD.

I did need to tweak the computer to handle the resolution size of 1366x768 compared with the older 800X600, but that is not a reflection on the ease of installation and use of this monitor.

I am running WINDOWS, so I can't address MAC user issues with this product.

Effortless hook-up and really clear widescreen picture. Great value for the money!
