Acer V173Bb 17-Inch LCD Monitor

I'm pleased with this purchase. The 17" display at the traditional 4:3 (roughly) aspect ratio provides plenty of "real estate" for viewing Internet content, for graphics work and page layout, and for working in several application windows at the same time. The screen resolution (1280x1024) is fine, making for clean and crisp images. The refresher rate is also satisfactory, as there is no apparent flicker and video appears smooth.

The menu and settings for brightness, contrast, etc. are simple and intuitive. I haven't had to make any custom settings and I'm happy with the presets.

It's a good monitor at a very competitive price!

I'm using this monitor with a 5 or 6 yr old Dell computer, and it's working very well. It has allowed me to squeeze another year out of the computer while they get the bugs out of Windows 7. (I always wait for SP2) LOL..... Good for the price, easy to hook up, came with the cable, I'm good.....wish it had speakers built in like my old Sharp monitor, but I'll just pick up some adjuncts later.

I received the monitor quickly and after hooking it up, found that it works very well. Color and clarity are great and I would recomment it for anyone.
