Summary: 3D and 120hz Excellent Monitor 2010-08-26
Comment: I've had this one since it became available in March this year 2010. Cost me a little over $400.
This monitor shows 3D like it's suppose to look, clear and crisp and real! I love watching blu-ray movies with the 120hz turned on (you an turn the refresh rate up to 120hz or to 60hz with your Display settings in Windows) Beautiful Picture...WOW!!!
The 120hz works through the DVI connection, the HDMI limits you to 60hz, but if you only have an HDMI cable you can use an adapter that come with the monitor too. I use an internal LG blu-ray CD-ROM and use Cyberlink Software for movie viewing.
You can not go wrong with this one I say!

Summary: Definitely worth the money! 2010-07-26
Comment: I lucked out and got this beauty on sale for just over $300.....a savings of over $70 from everywhere else! I bought this monitor to give my PC the ability to display 3D using nVIDIA's 3D Vision kit (also purchased through Amazon). The monitor I was replacing was an Acer X233H, so I really didn't notice a big change in screen size. But with this monitor having a 120 Hz refresh rate the images are crisper and graphics look beautiful (and that's when viewing in 2D)! Works great with the 3D kit, although using the 3D glasses cuts the brightness factor by about 1/2, so you will need to up the gamma level (if possible) when playing games in 3D or adjust the monitor brightness level. Can't wait till more movies are available in 3d Blu-ray, although that will mean getting a Blu-ray DVD ODD for my PC (and maybe a projector since there are so many that are compatible with the nVIDIA 3D system). I was debating between this monitor and the Alienware 3D monitor, but getting this one for just over $300 vs getting the Alienware for $500.....well the Acer seemed like the way to go, and believe me, it definitely was. Nothing against the Alienware, but saving a couple of hundred dollars sealed the deal. Even at its regular price of $370 this would be a great monitor to have if you are a gamer or considering going to 3D on your PC.

Summary: Great 120 Hz Monitor for gaming. 2010-07-24
Comment: I ordered this monitor for the 120Hz refresh rate so, i still didn't try the 3D capabilities. As a PC gamer who suffered from screen tearing & Vsync in the past years, this monitor feels like a gift from god. Works flawlessly in games and eliminates the screen tearing completely and with the 2 MS response time and 0 dead pixels, it made this cake taste sweeter.
Pros:
- 120Hz Refresh rate [tested, eliminates screen tearing].
- 2 MS response Time.
- Supports 3D in games & 1080p Blu-ray movies.
Cons:
- Non adjustable stand.
- Colors can be better.
The reason i gave this 5 stars and not 4 stars, because at this time you don't have many options with 120Hz monitors. And it does what it supposed to do. If you are a PC Gamer and you want the screen tearing to go away, buy this.

Summary: Can't display 3D as advertised 2010-06-06
Comment: Has anybody been able to return this to the seller or Acer America?
The dynamic ghosting on the top and the bottom portion of the screen makes
this a defective product. It can't display 3D images with nVidia 3D Vision as advertised.
I have tried all the tricks with no success.

Comment: Awesome monitor. Mine came with no dead pixels. Games play very smooth with 120 fps. Games play super awesome in 3D using NVIDIA 3D VISON.
My few gripes are no built-in webcam, monitor isn't height adjustable nor angle adjustable.
