I know by reading the information that the monitor is small. What I did not expect is that it is the size of a laptop screen. I have a 15" lcd from an older computer and it is larger than this monitor....
Also the monitor connects to the base and there is NO adjustment feature so the monitor stays as is. You can not tilt the screen to remove glare nor can you raise or lower the monitor. I had to go out and buy a 20.00 monitor stand so that I could put it almost eye level on my desk...I am 5'2 so it isn't like I am tall and needed to add more height for that reason.
There was no actual set up it ran right out of the box, as expected but as I said above I am disappointed that it has no adjustment feature and it is smaller than I expected it to be. I could have bought the 17 or 19 inch monitor for the same price but to be fair to my other daughter I had to stay in the same size range, which is why I chose this one. I purchased this monitor a little over a year ago simply because it was the cheapest one out there at the time. It's a good monitor, but now I'm starting to regret my purchase because I can go to my local Best Buy and pick up a 22" LED for the same price. Don't get this monitor. Get something better.

The color quality & sharpness is worse than that of my laptop - & much worse than my bulky old style Compaq monitor. I was soooooo disappointed! Back to the seller...
