I have a Nvidia FX 1500 Quadro graphics card, running Windows XP64, and the installation was flawless, the graphics card managed the 2048x1152 resolution easily, the Windows Control Panel allowed me to set the resolution without a hitch. I used the DVI-D connection. All cables are furnished.
Great brightness, no dark pixels, the contrast is the best I have seen. Right after I started it up and started working, I kept thinking "So that's how it's supposed to look!" Especially nice is the very wide screen view, I can now put up two large windows and move between them with ease, with great readability. So far, nothing to criticize. A three year warranty is great also. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: ACER ET.HB3HP.001 27-Inch LCD Monitor (Personal Computers) good monitor for the size/resolution but the angle of view is limited. Sitting in front of it and if you adjustyour height up and down ter are significant brightness differential as you move up and down. This is not acceptable to me. The left to right angle of view is limted as well... Stand is ok but old-styled and cheapish. By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: ACER ET.HB3HP.001 27-Inch LCD Monitor (Personal Computers) I was looking to replace a 20" CRT monitor with one that was at least as high and determined that I needed at least a 26" widescreen to do so. The Acer was the best value on paper in this size range and it did not disappoint in person. Installation and start up was very easy even though I went from a VGA to a DVI connection. The monitor has a huge footprint and is extremely bright. I recommend it to anyone who can't set up two more modest monitors because of graphics card restrictions. |
