Summary: I love the thing -- 4 1/2 Stars 2007-05-23
Comment: Just to put my review into perspective...I'm not an uber-monitor junkie like my husband. I basically want something crisp and detailed that is a no-brainer to set-up and calibrate. Matter of fact, calibrate shouldn't even be in the converstation.
This monitor is great for simple every day functions like viewing text documents, powerpoint type files, internet sites, digital pics, etc. The one thing I think it could improve upon is the clarity of the images from the satelite tv hooked up through media center. It's not near as crisp as I would've wanted. Even downloaded clips from the internet are kinda fuzzy...not necessarily pixilated, just not so sharp. DVD's that I play on the computer don't seem to have that problem, though.
The price, however, worked for me. So I can live with less than stellar movie images because it's a great monitor...slim, big, and easy. Just like I like 'em.

Summary: I'll never go back to a small screen, or anything but a flat screen. 2007-03-09
Comment: Wonderful clarity, just a beautiful, beautiful view of words or images, love it! Great price too. It's so clear and sharp it rivals a Mac screen. But I declare, a 20 inch is almost too big! It seems like my eyeballs have to travel almost too far side to side, to my surprise. A 17 inch would have been fine but I had no idea how big a 20 inch would be until I got it! Lightweight and easy to move to dust under--yet heavy enough to be steady and solid--and tilts easily too. There may be a few broken pixels down in one corner, I believe, but no problem, the rest is crystal-clear. Oh, one thing you need to know: Microsoft has a tiny applet called Clear Type that you download for free and you should get it. Without Clear Type you may not get the sharp focus you had hoped for after all. Simple little trick and like I said, it's free. It's also worth it to just have so much more space on my desk. Love this monitor.

Comment: There's plenty of viewing with this monitor. At first I didn't like the wide screen viewing angle, but I got used to it and now can't live without it. It's also a good buy for the price. Buy it!!!

Summary: Great Product 2007-01-04
Comment: I have had this monitor for 3 months now. Clear picture, nice colors.
The size allows you to open multiple windows. Perfect for surfing, playing games and work with graphics. I would have given this product 5 stars, but unfortunately I received it with one dead pixel, but for this price it did not bother me at all. The best money I have ever spend on a monitor!

Summary: you get what you pay for.... 2006-11-06
Comment: This is a pretty decent monitor, but after using it for 2 weeks, i'm returning it. The main reason is after rebooting linux (which is rare) i got the startup screen and noticed about 8 bad pixels. The other thing is, I didnt realize that this monitor doesnt have DVI output until I opened it up, which is why this monitor goes for $100 less than comparable monitors.
- bad pixels
- no DVI
+ decent image for analog inputs
